Our history

History

Motto since its inception of 1997: Where East-Meets West. The Korean Film Festival Canada is a Montreal-based non-profit arts organization that specializes in thematic festivals presenting films from Korea, Canada and beyond. We support emerging and professional artists in a collaborative pursuit to celebrate multiculturalism and fill artistic and cultural gaps. Note: This year KFFC's fall festival has moved to the spring. KFFC’s festival snow during the month of May in honour of Asian Heritage month. Due to having a short window in-between both seasons because of the shift, this year's festival news and contents on our website is reaching you closer to the event than usual. We kindly ask for your patience for this and if you have difficulties to find information, please collaborate with KFFC by contacting us at kffc.coordinations@gmail.com. The KFFC team is working tirelessly to put together a wonderful, condensed film section along with new projects to launch this new season! Thank you for your generous support!
